GoCamera is a robust camera application that offers users remote control capabilities for their Sony PlayMemories Mobile cameras. It enables users to capture striking photos with customizable exposure settings, followed by easy editing and sharing functionalities.

Please note that GoCamera does not support video capture.

Extensive testing has been conducted with a variety of Sony camera models, such as the QX10, QX100, Alpha 5100, Alpha 6000, HX400V, among others.

DEVICE SUPPORT

The list of Sony PlayMemories Mobile cameras supported includes models like Sony a7 series, Sony a5000 series, Sony a6000 series, and various others. It is important to note that devices released post the discontinuation of the PlayMemories Mobile interface in March 2017 may not be compatible with GoCamera. Users are advised to refer to their camera’s manual or visit Sony’s support site for detailed device compatibility information.

For certain devices, installation of the ‘Smart Remote Embedded’ service from the camera's built-in app store may be required for WiFi connectivity activation. Users are encouraged to follow the instructions specified in their camera's manual. As a third-party developer, universal compatibility with all PlayMemories Mobile cameras cannot be guaranteed as Sony retains the right to restrict third-party usage and alter interface configurations at its discretion.
